Clianthus
Following the tradition in our small village Borgomasino
the primordial passito wines were produced with red berried grapes. It is a Wine made by dried and carefully selected grapes of '' Barbera '' from "Il Chioso" vineyard (Morainic origin) in Borgomasino. The grapes are gathered in September and hanged up into fruit cellar for a natural drying according to the best Canavese tradition. In the first days of March, after having been dried for five months, the grapes are selected and pressed slowly. The must obtained is fermented in a steel drum and there aged for 1 year.
